Gentle Home Services' EXPRESS care is ideal for short-term, brief or intermittent visits. We know from experience and research that older adults want to age at home and sometimes just need a little bit of assistance to remain safe and independent. So we designed a new home care delivery model called Express. We offer focused care right in your community. The care providers and care teams offer efficient services scheduled in close proximity of each other helping with specific daily tasks instead of a shift working care provider.

Rates and Billing
Short intermittent tasks/services are billed in 15 minute increments starting at $15. Tasks may range from as short as 15 minutes to a couple hours if escorting you to your doctor's appointment. Need help once a week or once a month? No problem as we won't hold you to a long term commitment or lengthy cancellation policy.
Payment
Services are payable via credit card only at the time of service. No need for billing delays, interrupted mail delivery or checks in the mail.
Your credit card information is securely maintained in our office.

With every visit we include an extra set of eyes in the home. Changes in condition are reported to the agency which are then communicated to client’s family or physician. Our goal and mission in life is to keep our client's safe and comfortable. The majority of hospitalizations are due to missed medications, malnourished, dehydration, infections and falls. If we can keep just one client from an adverse event then we've done our job.

- AM/PM Care (dressing, support stockings or evening tuck in)
- Bath/Shower Visits
- Medication Reminders
- Safety/Wellness Checks
- Pre/post hospitalization support (eye surgery, colonoscopy prep, chemo days, minor surgery)
- Meal makers (help prepare sandwiches, soups, stews)
- Transportation/errands either with you or for you

- Spousal/caregiver support or respite (take a break or afternoon out for coffee with friends)

Scheduling
- Gentle Home Services will make every attempt to honor the requested time for the services. Medication reminders, AM Care, PM Care are often time sensitive and will take priority.
- Conditions sometimes beyond our control such as weather, storms, traffic or previous client concerns may delay the exact time of care provider arrival. We ask for flexibility in scheduling as we try to accommodate within an hour or so.
- Our goal is to make every attempt to schedule the same or a small group of caregivers for your specific needs.
